The selection list included 51 feature, animation and documentary films released in 2017. Filthy is nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actress In A Leading Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing.

The award ceremony will be held at the Prague Rudolfinum concert hall on 10 March 2017 and will be broadcast on the Czech Television´s first channel.

The Czech Lions are the main Czech film awards and they have been presented since 1993. Films are evaluated based on the voting of members of the Czech Film and Television Academy.
